AT&T Internet Protect

AT&T Internet ProtectSM is a security alerting and notification service that offers advanced information regarding potential real-time attacks (viruses, worms and distributed denial of service or DDoS attacks) that are in the early formation stages. AT&T DDoS Defense option provides DDoS identification and mitigation within AT&T's backbone providing you with increased protection from malicious traffic before it reaches your network. Protecting your networking infrastructure against internal and external assaults is critical. However, devoting in-house resources to security is costly and time-consuming. With AT&T's Intrusion Detection Service, you'll benefit from around-the-clock surveillance designed to quickly identify unauthorized attempts to access your network.

Network-Based Intrusion Detection Services - monitors and compares the traffic signatures to a database of known "attack signatures" security specialists monitor traffic patterns and other alerts to identify any malicious actions.

Host-Based Intrusion Detection Service - an intrusion detection agent is installed on each protected server and is connected directly to the Security Operations Center unapproved events trigger an alert notifying you of the potential intrusion.

AT&T Firewall Security

AT&T Firewall Security Services provide network security functions that are essential for any company implementing Internet-based internetworking. AT&T Firewall Security Services integrate with AT&T IP VPN and Internet Access Services and give your company the flexibility to configure a solution according to your specific business requirements. For coverage tailored to your needs, AT&T has an array of firewall configurations including network-based, premises-based and personal firewalls, designed for maximum performance and business continuity.

• Network-Based Firewall moves firewall functionality into AT&T's network infrastructure and provides highly secure connections for AT&T Frame Relay, ATM, AT&T IP-Enabled Frame Relay, AT&T IP-Enabled ATM or EVPN. No additional CPE is required -AT&T owns all firewall assets and provides 24x7 monitoring and attack management of the firewall service. The service will continuously inspect and treat inbound and outbound traffic according to your predefined security policies. You can select your company's required bandwidth allocation for Internet access through the firewall.
• Premises-Based Firewall is a fully managed firewall solution which includes all hardware and software components, configuration, installation, day to day management and maintenance, as well as expert customer support and proactive network monitoring. You can choose from four configurations: Cisco IOS® Firewall feature on Cisco router, Checkpoint® on Nokia, Checkpoint® on Sun Server, and Cisco PIX® Firewall. All configurations let you define your own security policy and tailor the solution to the size of your user base and enforce security policy on each interface of the firewall.
• Personal Firewall is available to remote access users subscribing to AT&T Premises-Based VPN Service and AT&T Business Internet Service. The Personal Firewall, which is integrated with the AT&T Global Network Client, receives security policy information from servers located at AT&T Internet Data Centers. The customer-defined security policy is populated into these centrally managed servers which push out the policy to subscribers. The service also includes a number of reports as well as enforcement of anti-virus updates and software patches.

AT&T Token Authentication

AT&T Managed Token Authentication Service is a method of network access protection. It provides enhanced security, called strong two-factor authentication, to protect your network and applications from access by unauthorized users and malicious hackers.

• requires a user to provide double layer of authentication: a secret PIN and an authenticator or token code

AT&T Secure E-mail Gateway

AT&T's Secure E-mail Gateway service provides you with network-based e-mail security and message management. The service helps ensure the integrity of a message before it enters your network by providing a first-line of defense that safely builds a bridge between the Internet and your corporate network. Specifically, AT&T Secure E-mail Gateway service incorporates spam filtering, virus blocking, content management, email policy enforcement, message archiving, and disaster recovery for both inbound and outbound messages, all delivered through a global network of redundant data centers.
